WHAT THE FUCK IS THE BEAKER CASTLE EVEN - A SimPE Deep Dive

Alright, so after stumbling upon some of the Beta pics on the Russian TheSims.cc site and this analysis post about the Beaker mansion, I became deeply curious if some of this would be reflected in the lot relationships. After all, some characters like Viola, Kelly, on top of several others could be found when digging through the raw and somewhat encrypted code of lots.

By now it's pretty clear that the Beaker home once belonged to this dude and his army of girlfriends (definitely check out the post I mentioned earlier). On top of that Loki (and possibly Circe) seems to have gone through at least two iterations before eventually settling on their final forms.

And on top of that whenever you scan the mansion in a completely new game, you will find fingerprints of primarily deceased Sims everywhere!

Now to get to the Sim relationships on the lot...

712 freaking Sim Relationships, all of which are unknown. Some of which still have stats set such as married, friends, relationship scores, etc. I tried comparing this to other lots in their neighborhood and NONE even come close. Both Olive and the Smiths have around 400. The other lots have below. And the only lots that are even a tad higher in this number are the Capps and the Summerdreams which makes sense when you realise that hood went through at least one other iteration before turning into Veronaville.

Now I wondered if the encrypted code (despite being very hard to read due to being partially encrypted) had any old Sim remnants left in there. And yep, several even. Many of which even have information such as their gender, hair, clothes and age in there. So lemme go over some of them:

1. First one, a guy who's name is partially encrypted so it will never fully be visible. It's not Johnny cause Johnny also has his character file on this lot.

A male teen with brown hair who used to wear the "tmbodyhoodedsweatshirtboardshorts" + the "tmhairhatcap" hairstyle.

2. Second is another teen, this time by the name of Zeeshan. He had black hair, the bucket hat hairstyle and wore the hooded sweatshirt, except with pants this time around (and grey apparently?).

3. The third was an adult male Sim by the name of Kenneth with black hair. Based on his info he was likely meant to be a Gardener Sim.

4. The fourth was one named Kana... Possibly a longer name cause once again the code becomes a bit shambled here. She too was meant to be a Gardener as seen by her outfit and hair data. Her hair would have been brown.

5. Elle, another female Gardener Sim, this one having red hair.

6. Vasyl, an adult male Sim who wore the busdriver outfit. Sadly his hair data seems to be blocked behind the code. For funsies I like to give the name to Bald Beta Loki, since he gives off that vibe. BUT, I think this was an NPC busdriver due to the outfit.

7. Joanne, an adult female Sim with an unknown hair colour in corn rows style and the classy afbodyjacketturtlesweaterdressboots. Sadly her ID is hidden behind the encrypted code, so it's hard to fully make out.

All of these Sims appear to be NPC/Townie Sims. None of them match ANYONE in the Beta pictures. And the current Townies/NPCs seem to have replaced them. Interestingly enough, those that were NPCs are still NPCs and those that were Townies are still Townies. Making me wonder if this is a thing that translates to other Sim IDs too. That Sims that were Townies in earlier iterations are still Townies in their new form. Same for NPCs and yep, Playables. This is merely an assumption I'm making on what I'm finding here, but if anyone can help research this further, that would be greatly appreciated, especially as this could mean the Viola ID may not belong to Viola Monty.

Viola is an odd case cause no outfit, hair or other data can be found in the lot file and she's only ever mentioned once in the context of lines filled with "sleep in pyjamas". But for now I cannot say anything with certainty unless more remnants of these old Sims could be found somewhere. OR, if these files could be read in its entirety which is quite difficult.

It's very hard to get a Sim ID attached to a lot (believe me I tried) and often times seems to rather happen accidentally than intentionally. Moving a Sim out or having a Sim die usually removes the data they once held to that lot. Good example is Loki in my current Strangetown who lived on this lot all of his life and when he died he had no remnants left on this lot.

REGARDLESS! The Beaker lot is ancient and seems to have been ground for a ton of testing, Sims and many more things. No wonder the Beakers got this home with its incredibly shady history. Half of the beta town was partying here!

T.S.R. Shopping List 11/14/21 Part 4 All Categories

Tiny Living, the latest release was kept a surprise unlike some of the recent addons we have gotten. For a stuff pack I think it definitely adds a lot for particular players that may not have gotten much out of some of the previous, more gameplay-focused packs. But before we get to that, I am going to talk a bit more about CAS, but in particular, Male CAS because there are plenty of others that can do the female clothing and items. 

Hair:

There are 4 total, with 2 being for male. They are short varieties that are similar in style to items we have previously got, but the more hair, even with small differences visually, are welcome in my book. Sometimes you want a similar style that’s just a bit different. The short curly hair is also a welcome addition as this hair type didn’t always get a lot of love. ‘

Accessories:

Guys get a new pair of transparent-frame glasses. Glasses are always needed in my opinion. Often a sorely overlooked accessory. The frames are perhaps a bit rounded for me, but they are nice nonetheless. 

Clothing:

There are 6 tops, 2 bottoms and 1 outfit added for the guys. They are nice because it’s more everyday-wear and not trendy or formal clothing that sims won't use often. My personal favourite is the v-neck sweater and shirt. The patterns are subtle and come with plain options too. The is a cardigan, a button up shirt, a jumper, and jacket. The pants are all cropped and I wasn't sold on the plaid but it’s in muted tones which makes it easier to style. 

The outfit.... I am not really sure what it is supposed to be. Lounging-wear? Pyjamas? I will probably use it as pyjamas. The top is going to be separated immediately because Henley tops are awesome and it’s just begging to be separated. The bottoms are like cuffed sweatpants so they would be useful too. Just not the patterns, they are a turnoff for me. 

Overall the CAS section is small (like all SPs) but definitely delivers usable items that I can see my sims using a lot. Basics will always have a use and it’s nice that the guys are getting some sensible choices.

LSS Ads Graded

Okay so I’m gonna list as many ads as I can think of and grade them based on the stripping content within. Going from S tier down to F. S tier obviously being an all-time great and F tier being ads which are complete missed oppourtunities, where it’s teased but never happens or maybe happens completely off-screen. D tier will be ads that actually have LSS content but execute them really poorly.

I definitely didn’t list all the ads I could remember so I might do a Part 2 soon. If you have any ads you’d like to see me grade please send them in!

adidas: B - "The parking inspector gets stripped by a supersonic tennis ball" is probably a sentence that hasn't been typed before, so points to this ad for uniqueness. I like that one of her bra straps has broken in the process, that's some nice attention to detail that you just don't see in a lot of these.

BI Norwegian Business School: B - The one scene worth noting is the hot blonde losing her business suit in a job interview. Quite a restrained embarrasment, it's fun.

Best & Less: C - Fun, but underwhelming. I like her surprised and dare I say excited reaction, but it doesn't go anywhere from there.

Citroen Happy Days: C - Good but I can't find a high quality version anywhere which doesn't help. Probably B tier if there was.

DIM: A - Both these ads are utter classics, but my favorite of the two is the one with the cat. Yes it doesn't show anywhere as much skin but the woman is an utter bombshell.

Doritos Dinamata: B - I love the build-up to the stripping. Really builds the tension. Bonus points to the shot of her scrubs coming apart at the seams, really ties it together.

Doritos Power of the Crunch: A - CLASSIC bit of LSS. Hot woman wears dress, dress flies off, hot woman gets embarrassed.

Dunlop: A - The runners version is above the tennis ones simply because there's more to it. (First they lose their tracksuits, then their uniforms). All three versions of this ad are classic though.

EU Personal Data: B - The fact that she's stripped naked is superb, but it's a damn shame we A: don't get to see actual nudity beyond some generous side boob and B: she doesn't react at all, really keeps this from the upper echelons. So close.

Elephant Auto: B - This feels like a classic LSS ad. All the flying junk gets in the way of her which doesn't help it but besides that it's great.

Gilt: B - Another ad that benefits from a build-up. It works for the payoff and it delivers. Not spectacular, and there's a version of this ad with another woman who gets stripped off-screen which is a bit of a tease but it's fun.

Juiced: S - It hits all the right notes. Losing clothes bit by bit, great evolving reaction, utterly hot woman, breasts!

Kit Kat Ice Cream: C - Nearly a B but it just falls short, love the unravelling dress but there's hardly any reaction to it. It just doesn't really reach the peaks it could.

L'Etoile: C - Really creative way of doing it, just wish it was longer.

Magnet: A - Classic ad. Enough said really.

Marks and Spencer: C - Again nearly a B but the scene where she loses her clothes is VERY brief, and is somewhat obscured by camera angles and such.

Mastika Peshtera: A - SO GOOD, I just wish we had it in better than potato quality. It also came with these nice print ads which are stills from mid-strip.

Media Markt: B - The classic vacuum sucks off dress gag, done pretty well, the girl is a babe, do wish we got to see more of her reaction but it's still fun

MetroPCS: S - Two different LSS's take place here, the highlight of course is the Bridesmaids losing their dresses simultaneously, all with different reactions. It was already pretty much S Tier off that alone but the other woman who loses her dress right after too is just sugar on top. Great shit.

NOVY TV: B - The women are hot and their reactions are great. Good solid B Tier ad.

O'Charleys Bread: C - Barely any skin is seen after the rip but her reaction is cute and the shot of the dress ripping from her shoulders is nice. Just inches into C Tier.

Odol - D: It’s creative, I’ll give it that much, but you barely see anything and it’s over so quickly.

PACT Office of Eden: A - FANTASTIC Scene where the woman's clothes rip off in slow motion as her hair falls out of it's ponytail. HOLY SHIT it's good, and it's her real lack of reaction that keeps it from being S Tier. Really great ad though, highly recommended.

Que Chosir réseaux sociaux: B - Smartly dressed woman losing her clothes piece by piece, it's good but it's still lacking somewhat. Maybe becuse its pixilated, maybe she reacts too quickly. Love it in throry but just falls short a little bit.

Sekonda: B - Lingerie? Yes. Reaction? Embarrassed. Hotel? Trivago. ...man if only Trivago had an LSS ad to their name.

Sela: S - Not only is it a fantastic LSS ad, it's a fantastic ad in general. Parkour, a love story, great visuals and titties! Also the censored version features the girl holding on to her bra in a very cute way so extra credit there.

Sex Education Show: B - A woman loses her pyjamas while falling through the sky. I love this but it's held back by the shots of her losing her clothes either being obscured or really close-up, no inbetween. Great ad though, comes close to being an all time great for me. The opening titles also have her losing her clothes too though how is happens is not as obvious, bonus points anyway.

Sheetz: B - The brunette who loses her clothes to 'the force' is a fun yet it's an oh so brief scene.

Target Color: C - The woman who gets her winter clothes blown off down to summery swimwear is fun but it's brief and there's not much reaction.

Target Jeans: B - Great reaction to her teleporting jeans but why DID she react like that? There's no one in the changing booth with her.

The Sims Katy Perry: D - I loved this when it first came out because it was a Katy Perry LSS. Like come on, Katy Perry's dress magically flying off, of course I loved it. But it really isn't that good. She doesn't react to it at all and what she's wearing underneath barely shows more skin than what she had.

Triumph V-Shape: D - I LOVE the shots of the dress turning to ribbons but in the shot where she reacts she's so far away! What is this, an LSS for ants?!?

Under the Skin: C - It's fun but brief. Simple as that.

Vestel: S - Hot blonde woman loses her clothes one by one to a magic washing machine. Fantastic. Only thing that could've made it better was actual nudity but there is generous sideboob.

Vittel: F - THIS FUCKING AD. Right, so there are two ads in this series. One male and one female. The male version has the guys clothes rip apart in very high detail for like 15 seconds and then he runs off to the bathroom in his boxers. The fact that there is a woman version of this should put it in S Tier automatically, right? Wrong. It starts with said lady lounging poolside when she goes to drink the bottle of Vittel and her clothes start to tear. Great start. But instead of reducing her to a bikini or her underwear, it just replaces what she's wearing with almost exactly the same thing, then she goes to dance on the grass. Utter fail, why did they not follow the pattern set by the other ad?!? She's by a pool for fuck's sake it writes itself!! So much potential wasted here.

Vivelle Dop: B - This is great, I just wish there was a bit more to it. Also wish there were HD versions of it but that's neither here nor there.

Westfield Online: C - Damn this had potential! The idea of a hot, smartly dressed woman getting her clothes blown off one by one is fantastic. I like what we got but what we see is HEAVILY obscured and all too brief. Doesn't help that the only copy I ever found was not quite HD. She seems to be naked at the end of it all so bonus points but this could've been so much better. If anybody ever finds a better copy of this please send it my way, it might be enough to bump it up to B.

I hate to interrupt this moment of sibling bonding Dusty, but pray tell, why have you taken your baby sister outside?

Dustin: I’m one of those teenage sims that picks up toddlers and washes them every minute and a half no matter their hygiene level; this is the quickest way to the bathroom.

But... it’s not any more. Since your mother placed everything in her inventory in time to move you guys in with the Dreamers, the house is void of all floor clutter that would usually render you taking the route to the bathroom via Riverblossom Hills.

Skip Jr: I’ve finally learned to talk properly, and the first thing I will say is... Mother! Teach me that nursery rhyme damn you! Beau gave up because I kept screaming at him.

Brandi: The stress of this has melted my maternity shoe – you do see this, don’t you SJ? 

One last look at the Broke trailer and its random haphazard awfully-designed extension we had to build in an emergency to house the twins. I’m gonna miss this, it’s a true Sims 2 home that I rarely change from how it first appears because it suits the Brokes so much. That said, I do plan to move Dusty into it after he graduates from college as a little starter home, so it will make more appearances!

Speaking of Dustin...

COLLEGE TIME! a) The name of his household is an indicator that he and Dirk will most likely live together, because stepbros, after all my initial resistance to that idea. b) Where did his shirt go?! Well of course Brandi is the kind of parent who’d send a teenager to Sim State University half-clothed.

Oh, he’s clothed after all. Clearly Bran threw his vest in the car at the last minute.

Brandi: Breathe it all in, son. Your future awaits.

Dustin: This dorm is crappier than our trailer.

Brandi: That’s the spirit. I’m so glad you’re excited for this adventurous new step in your life.

Dustin: Whoa, time to become a man! Ready for me to look even more like Dad and make you cry?

Brandi: You do look even more like your father and I am going to cry.

(Don’t look at her hand!!! I obviously shot all this in entirely the wrong order.)

Brandi: But I’m mostly going to cry because you transitioned into terrible Romeo Monty cosplay, and because you’re leaving me!

Dustin: Get over it, I’ll be back tomorrow with five months’ worth of laundry.

Brandi: Okay!

Dustin: Byeeeee!

Brandi: Byyyyyyoh my god that dorm doesn’t even have a CEILING. Apartment Life, weren’t you supposed to fix this madness?!

And off he goes, awaiting a dazzling new life of burned pancakes made lovingly by the inept canteen worker behind him and immediately planning to change into that awesome 4t2 baseball tee conversion with all the money on it. Hey, at least he transitioned into the classic Dustin Broke red and black color scheme though, right?

Dustin: Hey I look dope. Romeo Monty wishes he could pull this off.

Whose brain is probably delicately held together by that beanie he always wears, I’ll give you that one, Dust.

Next time we’ll follow Darren and Brandi on their Hot Date to the sim equivalent of an Applebee’s or Red Robin (or for my fellow Brits, Wetherspoon’s or Harvester) – Oresha Family Dining! That’s the one, with the built-in sticky-looking carpet and everything.

Pyjama Party!

Hi everybody! After a couple of days of tinkering and tidying up, I think these PJ pants are finally ready to share, so if you’d like them, all you have to do is head over to my Patreon!

Lol nah, I’m joking. I made these while watching Poldark and Bake-Off, I don’t want money for them! So, what do you get here? You get 350 adult male full body pyjama pants on a game mesh. There’s flowers, hearts, skulls, Pokemon, TARDIS’s, food, sharks, paisley, geometric patterns- you know what, I made swatches, you can see for yourselves. I’ve got the patterns from all over the place, mostly ColourLovers, but also here on Tumblr, a bunch that a Sims 4 creator posted, and a whole lot more I found when Googling ‘free seamless patterns’. Many of the results were not free. Thanks, Google!

Of course, 350 is a lot of PJ pants, so I’ve split them up into seven bundles of fifty and provided a bonus RAR of preview pictures to help you identify the ones you don’t want (or you could just keep them all if you want, although I don’t recommend it. Even I’m not planning on keeping all of them, because I intend to make them for as many ages and genders as possible and want to mix it up, but eh, if you want them all, I can’t exactly stop you). They’ve also all been run through Cat’s Tooltip Adder, in case you get in the game and think ‘actually that one’s super ugly, what the hell were you thinking, Sushi?’ They’ve also been compressed, because I am nothing if not thorough. (I will never put this amount of effort into my CC ever again.) And YES, I did edit the sortindex in all the BINX after all to make them show up in alphabetical order, apart from Sylveon03 because I misspelled it as Slyveon03 and didn’t notice until afterwards. I wound up giving it the same one as Sylveon02 so there’s a 50/50 chance it’ll be in the right place.
